Privacy Policy
This policy describes how we handle personal information when you use Parlay (parlay.talk and workspace subdomains), related apps, and support channels.
1. Who we are
Parlay is operated by Mirai Technologies Pty Ltd (Australia). Contact: parlay@parlay.talk.
2. What we collect
- Account data — username, display name, password (hashed), optional email/phone, role, and profile photo.
- Workspace data — workspace name, branding, billing email, plan and trial/billing status.
- Content you create — messages, files, reactions, channel names, call metadata, and similar collaboration data within your workspace.
- Technical data — IP address, device/browser info, approximate usage timestamps, and diagnostic logs needed to run and secure the service.
- Payment data — processed by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe) when card billing is enabled. We do not store full card numbers.
3. How we use information
- Provide, secure, and improve Parlay (including authentication, delivery of messages, calls, and notifications).
- Bill for paid plans, send service emails (verification, invites, invoices, trial reminders).
- Prevent abuse, debug incidents, and comply with law.
We do not sell personal information.
4. Multi-tenant isolation
Each workspace is logically isolated. Customer content is stored under that workspace and is not available to other customers. Platform operators may access workspace data only as needed for support, security, or legal compliance, under access controls and audit logging.
5. Storage and security
Data is hosted on infrastructure we operate. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS). Passwords are stored using a modern one-way hash (Argon2). Access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the service.
6. Retention
We retain account and workspace data while the workspace is active. After deletion or extended inactivity we remove or anonymise data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for legal, tax, or security reasons (e.g. billing history, fraud logs).
7. Sharing
We share information with subprocessors that help us run Parlay (hosting, email delivery, payments, error monitoring when enabled), under contracts that limit use to providing those services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
8. Your choices
- Workspace admins can manage members, content, and branding inside Parlay.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by contacting us (workspace admins may need to initiate content export/deletion).
- You can opt out of non-essential marketing email; service/transactional mail may still be sent.
9. Children
Parlay is intended for business and organisational use and is not directed at children under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
